Candace Mast Veterinary Medicine Scholarship Fund
The Candace Mast Veterinary Medicine Scholarship was established in 2014 to assist female students studying veterinary medicine.
How to Apply*
The Candace Mast Veterinary Scholarship is for newly-accepted or currently enrolled DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) students from East Tennessee Foundation’s 25-county service area. Past recipients of this scholarship are encouraged to reapply each year. Eligible students must be U.S. citizens who achieved at least a 3.0 undergraduate GPA and are attending University of Tennessee, Knoxville or Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. The sponsor has specified that the scholarship has the following additional eligibility criteria, or focus.
To be eligible for the Candace Mast Veterinary Scholarship students must demonstrate financial need and be committed to a career path in clinical (not research) veterinary medicine. Past recipients of this scholarship are encouraged to reapply each year.
