To apply for the Brooks Law Group Car Accident Scholarship, you must write an original essay on the following topic:
“When the Trucks Move In: How Logistics Centers Impact Traffic Safety in Nearby Communities.” Explore the effects that the establishment of logistics centers (such as warehouses, distribution hubs, or freight terminals) can have on traffic patterns and safety in surrounding areas. Focus on the challenges and potential risks these centers create, such as increased truck traffic, road congestion, and accidents, particularly in residential or high-traffic areas. Explore the impact on local infrastructure, including roads and safety measures, as well as the need for better planning, regulation, and mitigation strategies to reduce the negative effects on traffic safety.

- Essays should be 700-1400 words (not including your personal background information).

- Your scholarship submission must include a headshot photo of you.
- Your essay must have a small paragraph with some background information about yourself in ONE file. Please only submit a Word Document or PDF. Other file types will not be considered.
- Your background information MUST include where you are from and where you are/will be attending college.

The contest is open to current high school seniors and undergraduate college students who will be attending a US college or university in the next fall semester.
