The Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement is offering scholarships to high school seniors or those currently enrolled in a two or four year higher education program, with plans to pursue a career in agriculture. This doesn’t have to mean you’re planning to be a farmer – this also includes food scientists, veterinarians, ag teachers, or maybe even a Farm Credit loan officer! Students can receive this scholarship up to four times. The Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement will be awarding at least $350,000 to mid-Atlantic area students planning to pursue a career in agriculture.

The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides a multi-faceted experience designed to not only address the financial needs of students who aspire to attend college but to guide them through the process of higher education. JRF Scholars receive college scholarships of up to $35,000 over four years and are financially sponsored to attend JRF‘s annual, four-day “Mentoring and Leadership Conference“ in New York City and other events throughout the year. Aside from generous financial support, Scholars benefit from a comprehensive, four-year program that includes career guidance, internship and permanent job placement, travel abroad, and leadership and practical life skills training.
